OVERVIEW
7 events will be run by Haus Race Team throughout the season. Each event will continue to run as single races under British Cycling rules, with cash prizes for top 3 and BC Cat ranking points for top 10/15 places. However, this year every racer will also be competing for WeBuyCycle Crit League points which will be accumulated across the season, to recognise the most consistent racers and teams.
Five races will be added to the calendar for each event;
- Open Masters 40+ 3/4
- Open 4th Only
- Open 3/4
- Open E123
- Women’s only 2/3/4
Overall POINTS AND PRIZES
We are very lucky to have the support from a number of companies to bring you some amazing prizes so please show them some love. It’s a difficult time for cycling brands and these guys are choosing to support our local racing scene which we’re forever grateful for.
Prizes will include –
- The Series Winner will receive a £3,000 voucher to be spent towards a bike supplied by webuycycle.co.uk
- Second in the series will receive a premium wheelset from Vetta Cycling
- Third in the series will receive £500 toward a carbon repair or a bike respray from Carbon Cycle Repair
- Ascesa will be providing series leader jersey
- A6 Coffee will be providing the overall sprint leaders Jersey in the A6 Coffee Cup
We will also recognise the following categories
- Most points in each race category
- Most combative rider (Voted for by Organisers, Officials, Marshals and Volunteers).
- Best Team/Club of the series (minimum 4 riders)
Points will be given to each rider. 1st = 100, 2nd = 99, 3rd = 98 all the way down to 1 point for 100th place or the end of the field.
Points are equal across the categories and everyone gets to compete together. The rider with the most points across the season wins, simples

Sprint Leader Competition
Points for the Sprint Leader competition will be awarded to Prime winners and the top three finishers in each race. Each Prime will award 10 points. For the overall race finish, points will be awarded as follows: 10 points for 1st place, 6 points for 2nd place, and 3 points for 3rd place.
Any rider who enters more than one race on the same day will have all sprint points earned added to their overall Sprint Leader total.
Points earned in the Sprint Leader competition are separate from the Crit Series and do not contribute to the overall Crit Series standings.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We know people usually hide these at the bottom but they’re probably important so i’ve done my best to make them interesting…
1. Only Competitors who enter a Race using the British Cycling online entry system will qualify for league points.
2. Competitors can enter more than one Race to take advantage of the half price second Race. Only one Race qualifies for points and the best finish will be used towards the overall league, subject to point 1
3. If a Competitor does not finish (DNF), they will be awarded the finish position up to a maximum of 25 points, subject to point 5
4. If a Competitor does not start (DNS), they will not be awarded any points
5. If an accident or mechanical issue prevents a Competitor from finishing, the Organiser has the discretion to award points, considering the circumstances of the incident and any technical or negligent factors. The Organiser can award points up to a maximum of the average points awarded to the Competitor in all previous races.
6. Competitors can enter any Race they have licence eligibility and are not limited to one Race throughout the season (i.e. 4th cat)
7. The Organiser and line judges will record finishing positions manually using video footage. Any dispute must be raised within 48 hours of the date that the results are published.
8. Competitors can join the series at any point in the Season.
9. Competitors are encouraged to marshal at events and will be awarded points up to a maximum of the average points awarded to the Competitor in all previous races
10. There must be 20 competitors or more to be eligible for full league points. Any race with fewer than 10 entries will be eligible for a maximum of 75 points, less than 20 will be 85 points.
