wb1

We had overwhelming support last year and we’ve listened to your feedback. You want bigger and better. You want competitive racing as a team and as an individual. You want more than Cat’s and BC points to chase for. You want fun and more of the same community vibes.

We give you the Velo Bavarian Crit League for 2025

Overview

8 events will be run by Haus Race Team throughout the season. Each event will continue to run as single races under British Cycling rules, with cash prizes for top 3 and BC Cat ranking points for top 10/15 places. However, this year every racer will also be competing for VB Crit League points which will be accumulated across the season, to recognise the most consistent racers and teams.

Four races will be added to the calendar for each event;

  • Open 4th Only
  • Open 3/4
  • Open E123
  • Women’s only 2/3/4

POINTS AND PRIZES

We are very lucky to have the support from a number of companies to bring you some amazing prizes so please show them so love. It’s a difficult time for cycling brands and these guys are choosing to support our local racing scene time for cycling which we’re forever grateful for.

Prizes will include –

  • The Series Winner will receive a brand new Pinarello F1 supplied by Velo Bavarian
  • Second in the series will receive a premium wheelset from Vetta Cycling
  • Third in the series will receive an all purpose wheelset from Vetta Cycling
  • Project Tactic will be providing series leader jersey

We will also recognise the following categories

  • Most points in each race category
  • Most combative rider (Voted for by Organisers, Officials, Marshals and Volunteers).
  • Best Team/Club of the series (minimum 4 riders)

Points
Points will be given to each rider. 1st = 100, 2nd = 99, 3rd = 98 all the way down to 1 point for 100th place or the end of the field.

Points are equal across the categories and everyone gets to compete together. The rider with the most points across the season wins, simples 😉
